Der Vorteil: Anbieter und Anwender von PV-Modulen müssen diese nicht mehr ins Labor bringen, stattdessen kommt das Labor zum Modul. Gerade bei größeren Solarparks, bei denen Chargenprüfungen mehr als tausend Module enthalten können, sparen Marktakteure so viel Zeit, Prüf- und Speditionskosten ein – das schont nicht nur den Geldbeutel, sondern auch die Umwelt.
„Rein rechnerisch kann TÜV Rheinland mit dem Mobile Solar Lab jährlich ca. 30.000 Module testen. Dieses Stichprobenvolumen entspräche einer kumulierten Anschlussleistung von rund 1 Gigawattpeak (GWp) oder mehr als 1 Millionen PV-Module", erklärt PV-Experte Uwe Hupach von TÜV Rheinland.
Labor auf vier Rädern
Das mobile PV-Labor ist in ein großes Nutzfahrzeug eingebaut. Es verfügt über alle technischen Voraussetzungen, die für stichprobenartige Chargenmessungen vor der Installation von PV-Modulen notwendig sind.
